MATRIX ZDB: Dimmer and Backlight
With its built-in universal light dimmer, backlit switches and wireless Z-Wave technology MATRIX ZDBreally outsmarts your old wall switches.
The built-in light dimmer can control a local load, e.g. a lamp socket to replace a standard one-poled switch.

The light dimmer can dim all dimmable light bulbs from 0-250 W. Even your low power LED bulbs.

Matrix ZDB is designed to fit into all FUGA® compatible coverframes and boxes.

Add Symbols to your MATRIX
Make it easier for you, your spouse and your guests to navigate your Logic Home. With our Matrix Customizer you can freely combine symbols from our library and your text to fit your MATRIX’ functions.
The symbols are laser engraved on the pushbuttons, thereby lasting for the lifetime of the product.

Construction
- A Cover Frame of your choice (1 module, not included).
- The Casing with all the magic inside.
- The Pushbutton is a translucent white plastic that matches your existing frames, socket outlets and wall switches.
Warning! Only authorised technicians under consideration of the country-specific installation norms may do works with 230 Volt mains power. Prior to the assembly of the product, the voltage network has to be switched off.
Wiring
Dimmed output (~), Neutral (N) and Line (L) must be connected according to the diagram below. Contacts with same markings (N or L) are internally connected and can be used for cable looping.

Cable Connection/Disconnection
Use a cable, max. 1,5 mm², with a stripped length of 9-10 mm. Solid cables are simply pushed into the connection terminals, whereas stranded cables must be connected by pressing a slotted screwdriver with 2,5 mm slot against release button while pushing in the cable (A). When disconnecting a cable use the release button as described above.
Demounting the Pushbutton Cover
To mount/unmount MATRIX the pushbutton cover must be removed. Loosen the cover with a slotted screwdriver; first insert it in the top (B) aftwerwards in the bottom (C).
Hold the top of the cover while the bottom is released.
Demounting from Cover Frame
MATRIX is demounted from a cover frame by inserting a slotted screwdriver in the two points (D) og (E).
Adding/Removing
Add/remove units in the Z-Wave network by pushing the center switch (I) with a non-conductive object. The LEDs of pushbutton 1 will now start blinking.
Restore Factory Settings
Factory settings are restored by pressing the center switch (I) and hold it for min. 10 seconds.
